What Laberty is, and how the plans differ

A label printing app for families and small businesses. Here is what it does, who uses it, and what each plan adds.

Laberty turns a label printer into something the whole household, or the whole shop, can use. You keep your addresses, food products and appointments in one place and print labels for them. It runs in your web browser at laberty.app. There is nothing to install for everyday printing.

Two kinds of people use it

  • Admins get the full console: households and addresses, printers and label stock, food labels, appointment cards, occasions, users, analytics and billing.
  • Members get one simple screen: find a name, tap it, print. It was built for someone who doesn't want menus, like a grandparent on an iPad. See Adding a member.

What it prints

  • Address labels for the households in your list, in the right name style: one person, a couple, or the whole family. See Address labels and households.
  • Short notes on a continuous roll.
  • Food labels with use-by dates, nutrition and a barcode if you want one (Home and Business). See Food labels.
  • Appointment cards and small calendar strips (Home and Business). See Appointment cards.
  • Labels and receipts from your own apps, through the API (Home: 20 actions a month; Business: unlimited). See the Integration guide.

Where it prints

  • From an iPhone or iPad. Laberty makes the labels and hands them to the device's Share menu, where you choose Print. See Printing from an iPhone or iPad.
  • Through the print bridge. A small program on a computer or NAS on your own network. It prints to receipt printers, Zebra printers, and Brother QL printers by IP address. See The print bridge.

A few things that are true on every plan

  • No passwords. You sign in with a link we email you, or with a passkey. See Signing in.
  • Your data is yours. Every account is walled off from every other. Your addresses are used to print your labels, and that's all.
  • AI suggests, you decide. The assistant and the food lookup propose things. Nothing is saved or printed until someone taps a button.
