Creating your account
Type your email, tap the link we send, and your Laberty is ready. There is no password to choose.
Sign up in four steps
- Go to laberty.app and tap Get started. You can also go straight to laberty.app/login.
- Type your email address and tap Email me a link.
- Open the email from
signin@laberty.app. Its subject is "Set up your Laberty". - Tap Create my Laberty in the email. A page opens with a button of the same name. Tap that button too.
Laberty creates your account and signs you in. You land on the Dashboard, which shows a short setup list:
- Add your first household
- Create the member account
- Make it yours (a tagline, and how the assistant should talk)
- Check your label stock
None of it is permanent. Everything can be changed later.
Your account starts on Free
The Free plan covers address labels, notes and one printer. When you want food labels, appointments, the print bridge or the API, start a free trial of Home or Business from Admin → Billing. See Free trial.
Why there's no password
Laberty never asks for one. You sign in with a link we email you, or with a passkey such as Face ID. A password is the thing people forget, reuse on other sites, or write on the fridge. More in Signing in.
Why the link opens a page with a button
Some mail apps and work email filters open links by themselves, to check them for danger. If the link signed you in straight away, that automatic check would use it up before you ever tapped it. The button means only a real tap from you creates the account.
Nothing exists until you tap
If someone types your address by mistake, no account is made. Nothing happens unless the button is pressed. You can ignore an email you didn't ask for.
If it doesn't work
- No email after a few minutes? See The email link didn't arrive.
- "That link has expired." Links last 20 minutes. Go back to the sign-in page and ask for a new one.
- "That link has already been used." Each link works once. If you already tapped it, open laberty.app. You may already be signed in.
