House labels

House labels are for the small labels you make all the time: a bag of food to throw away, leftovers with today's date, a jar with a use-by date. There is no border and no address, just the words you choose. You find them in the admin console under Labels → House labels.

They are part of every plan. Only Admin and Caregiver people can see them. A person in Simple mode never sees House labels and cannot open the page, even from a saved link. See People and access.

Print one in a tap

Your list starts with a few labels to get you going:

• Discard: frozen and Discard: refrigerated, each with the date and time.
• Date & time.
• Use by (+3 days), with a date three days from today.

Set Qty on the label you want and press Print. The date and time are put on the label at the moment you print, in your workspace's time zone, so the same label is right every time.

You can edit or delete any of these. If you delete one, it stays deleted.

Make your own

Press New label, then:

1. Give it a name. Only you see the name.
2. Type up to six lines. For each line pick a size (Small to Extra large), Left, Center or Right, and Bold if you want it.
3. Choose which label it prints on, or leave it on Whatever roll is loaded.
4. Tick Border only if you want one. It is off by default.
5. Set the usual quantity, and press Save.

Stamps

Type a stamp into any line. Laberty replaces it with the real value when you print.

Your time zone is the one set for your workspace, not the time zone of whichever device you are using.

A quick label

For a label you will not need again, use Quick label on the left. Type the lines, choose the size and quantity, and press Print. Nothing is saved unless you fill in Also save it as.

Quantity and sizes

You can print up to 50 of the same label at once. If the words are too big for the label you picked, Laberty tells you it does not fit instead of printing something cut off. Make the text smaller, use fewer lines, or pick a bigger label.

House labels go to your printer the same way as every other label, through the print bridge when you have one, or as a PDF you print yourself. If a roll is confirmed in the printer, wrong-label protection still applies.
