Download a copy of your data

Export everything your workspace owns as a JSON file, or households, people and occasions as spreadsheets, whenever you like.

Your workspace is yours, and you can take a full copy of it at any time. No support request, no waiting.

Who can do it

Only a full Admin. A Caregiver, or someone on the simple printing screen, does not see this page and cannot open it, even if someone tries the address directly.

Download it

  1. Sign in and open Your data in the Account part of the menu.
  2. Press Download everything (JSON).

You get one file with everything the workspace owns:

  • households, people and the name styles on each label, and occasions
  • notes, food products and grocery trips, appointments and planning lists
  • printers, label stock, layouts, screens and devices, and print history (the details, not the label images)
  • settings and branding, and the activity log
  • the people who can sign in: name, role and email address

The end of the file says "complete": true and lists how many records are in each section. If a download was interrupted, those are missing, so you know to download it again.

Spreadsheets

For the everyday lists there are also Households (CSV), People (CSV) and Occasions (CSV) buttons. They open in Excel, Numbers and Google Sheets, and each row carries the address so it stands on its own.

What is never in it

Passwords and sign-in secrets, passkeys, authenticator secrets, recovery codes, API key values, session tokens, and card details (which Laberty never sees). Your AI keys, if you added any, are left out too. This is deliberate: the file is easy to copy around, so it must never be able to sign anyone in.

Limits

  • Each download can be made once every 3 minutes.
  • If a workspace is very large, Laberty says so and stops rather than giving you an incomplete file. Nothing is cut off silently. Contact us through the Help Center and we will make the full export for you.
  • Every download is written to your workspace's activity log.

Before you delete anything

If you are thinking of deleting your workspace, download this first. Once a workspace is suspended for deletion, nobody can sign in to download anything.
