What's an AI action?

One thing you asked the AI to do.

Printing never costs an action. Only the AI does.

How many are included

Free: 10 actions to try, once, not every month. After that, bring your own AI key or buy a pack.
Home: 500 actions a month.
Business: 2,000 actions a month.

These are the launch amounts. The pricing page shows today's. The monthly allowance starts again each calendar month, and unused actions from the allowance don't carry over.

To see where you are, open Admin → Billing: it shows what you've used this month and any purchased actions in reserve. The Activity log (Admin → Activity log) lists every AI call with its estimated cost.

When you run out

AI features say the limit has been reached. Everything else keeps working, including printing. There are three ways to carry on.

1. Buy a pack

On Admin → Billing, under AI actions, or from the add-ons table on the pricing page:

Packs are one-time purchases, and purchased actions never expire. They're only used after the month's included actions are gone. They're added as soon as checkout finishes, and Billing shows "AI actions added."

2. Turn on pay-as-you-go

Also on Billing, under Pay as you go:

Tick Top up automatically when I run out.
Choose how many actions each top-up buys.
Set Never spend more than (per month).
Press Save.

When you run out, Laberty buys another top-up on the card you have on file, and never goes over your monthly limit. Whatever you type, it never spends more than $200 in a month. It's off until you turn it on, and you can turn it off any time. It needs a card on file, so subscribe to a plan first. Each top-up is recorded, and the Laberty team is notified.

3. Use your own AI key

Add your own Anthropic or OpenAI key, and your AI runs on your account instead. It doesn't count against your actions, and Laberty doesn't cap it. See Bring your own AI keys.
